So the design incorporates a sinuous gravel and pale stone sett path from the street up to the front door. Low curvy smooth rendered walls act as terracing, and follow the path's route. A second path from the driveway provides easy access from the owner's car. Small letterbox shaped stainless steel LED lights are set low into the walls and gently illuminate the path for any evening visitors.

The rest of the garden is filled with colourful, textural planting. Evergreen structure is via in box balls, Astelia, Phormium, Fatsia, Hebe and Sarcococca. Hellebores & Dicentra provide flowers in late winter, and spring is greeted with the beautiful  white blossom of a multi -stemmed Amelanchier.

A profusion of purple, red and white is provided through the summer and into autumn - everything from Salvia, Knautia, Astrantia, Allium, Agapanthus, Anemone, to Penstemon, Libertia, Crocosmia, Iris, Aconitum and Paeonia. A small informal hedge of Pittosporum 'Tom Thumb' provides sumptuous dark purple foliage and a red leaved Acer brings beautiful autumn colour.
