The design here divided the garden into a series of usable spaces for the whole family to enjoy. The beautiful Acacia tree provides the wood for the deck which runs along the length of the back of the house. As this faces south, it gets sun for a majority of the day, so is used as both a sun and dining terrace.
A shallow step down from here leads round the corner to a polished sandstone breakfast patio. Planting runs the length of this patio, providing scent and colour for the clients when out enjoying the morning sunshine.
Three wide shallow steps lead from the deck up to the large square lawn, which provides a great place for the kids to play or lie on a sunny day. Low rendered planters separate the dining deck from the lawn and rest of garden beyond.
