This design is a based on a simple winding gravel path which leads off the driveway. Its at its widest here to give plenty of access from a car parked there. It passes the bottom of the steps to the front door, and then downwards through the garden. There is a seat nestled under the window, surrounded by plants giving the owner a place to relax in privacy and overlook the rest of the garden. |

The curving path creates a journey through various scented shrubs and herbaceous plants and around a small tree which creates much needed height, again adding to the privacy. There is a small wooden seat under the tree, another place to stop and admire the planting. At the end of the path there is a stainless steel sculpture tucked away. There is a strip of ground at the bottom of the garden which had to be accessible for the utility companies. Sunken pots are planted with grasses and flowers which can be lifted if access is required. |
